Florida Helps State Licensed & Nationally Accredited Rehab

Florida Helps is a proud provider of licensed and nationally accredited addiction treatment center, recognized for meeting the highest standards of care in the United States. Whether you’re from Florida or traveling from out of state, our facility meets rigorous safety, clinical, and ethical guidelines set by top U.S. healthcare authorities.

Alumni Program

At Florida Helps Florida, our alumni are an essential and integral part of what we do. An addiction rehab alumni program is a necessary part of any continuum of care for addiction treatment. As patients successfully transition out of treatment and back into sober living, they form an important network of support for each other and those just entering our programs.
Alumni will no doubt face challenges as treatment ends and sober living begins. At Florida Helps Florida, we understand that navigating living arrangements, careers, relationships and other important aspects of life can be difficult. During our time in the behavioral health industry, we have learned the importance of community.

Continued Support from Our Addiction Rehab Alumni Program

Not only is alumni support vital to continued addiction recovery, but it is imperative that friends and family of the alumni are closely involved with the process. As wonderful as newfound sobriety is, it can be difficult for those closest to the newly sober individual to know how best to help and support their recovery. Should they keep alcohol in the house? Should they encourage 12-step meetings attendance, or just let it be? Should they ask questions about recovery, and if so, what should they be asking?
At Florida Helps Florida, our team of counselors and family therapists will help answer these questions, along with any other questions that arise. We understand that this is not just a tough transition for the newly sober individual but for everyone involved. Many studies prove that ongoing care—involving the alumni and the family of the alumni—leads to longer periods of happy and fulfilled sobriety.

Confidential Addiction and Mental Health Care for Veterans

Enjoy a Life Beyond Rehab

Texas Helps provides integrated treatment that addresses both substance use disorders and mental health conditions. Veterans participate in individual therapy, group counseling, relapse prevention planning, and recovery education to support lasting sobriety.

Occasional alumni activities, events, and meet-ups. We organize fun-filled alumni activities and events so that those who have graduated from our treatment program—whether it be months or years ago—have the opportunity to stay involved, catch up on a regular basis, and have massive amounts of fun in the process.

Social media pages where alumni members can interact with one another. Those who move away from our treatment centers will still have the opportunity to stay engaged. We have alumni pages on Facebook and other social media outlets, where alumni members can talk to one another, offer insight and advice, and share their personal hardships and triumphs.

The opportunity for alumni mentorship. In some cases, our alumni members will have the opportunity to mentor someone who is in a lower level of care. This will help foster strong, meaningful connections while building self-esteem and staying involved.

Bringing 12-step meetings into our inpatient residence. Another way to stay involved is by bringing 12-step meetings into the inpatient residence. Our alumni members will often facilitate or even lead the meeting, speaking about their own experiences, strengths, and hope.
